Concept Learning Modules introduce the learner to medical-surgical content, with an emphasis on health assessment of the adult client, discharge planning, ethical/legal principles and therapeutic communication. Pharmacology integration continues with the introduction of medical-surgical content. The integration of psychiatric/ mental health concepts focuses on cognition and grief. Nursing skills are practiced in an acute medical-surgical setting.
