Description

Field experiences focus on applications of nutrition and food principles in a variety of settings which may include community feeding programs for a broad range of age groups from prenatal to the elderly, as well as nutrition research facilities, and attendance at professional meetings. Students are required to continue the development of compendium of nutrition and food resources for use in their clinical practice and with future patients/clients. Students are required to share their experiences both orally and in writing and these experiences are designed to promote
critical thinking, information literacy, research, and writing skills.
