Description

This course examines gross and microscopic anatomy, function, and inter-relationships of the body systems. Laboratory sessions emphasize basic physiologic principles, gross and microscopic mammalian anatomy. The expected outcome of the course is that students will have a working knowledge of the component parts of the body---from cells to organ systems. At the end of the courses, students will be able to integrate this knowledge into an overall understanding of how the body functions in health and in disease states. ANA 1010 is a prerequisite for ANA 1120
