HCP 0850 - Advanced College Reading - This advanced HCOP course continues to develop and reinforce students? critical reading skills through learning comprehension strategies and introduces students to the academic writing required in general education and professional development courses. Students will practice comprehension and analysis of academic writing through critiquing written articles in professional journals and other sources, by writing summaries and different types of essays, by giving oral presentations, and by presenting a final research report.
