Description
Field experiences focus on applications of nutrition principles in a variety of settings which may include community feeding programs for a broad range of age groups from prenatal to the elderly, as well as nutrition research facilities, and attendance at professional meetings. Students are required to begin the development of a compendium of nutrition resources for use in their clinical practice and with future patients/clients. Students are required to share their clinical experiences both orally and in writing and these experiences are designed to promote critical thinking, information literacy, research, and writing skills.
