Description
Clinical education provides an opportunity to observe or participate in all areas related to management of a food service operation. Students are assigned to a clinical facility where application of basic knowledge of food service management skills is emphasized. Students are expected to complete projects related to the provision of food and nutrition services as selected by the assigned facility and as assigned by the instructor. Students are required to share these experiences both orally and in writing and their experiences are designed to promote critical thinking, information literacy, research, and writing skills.
